Bakchich Lebanese Street Food

It's official. Lebanese cuisine has won my heart. It may now be my favourite cuisine of all, beating off Indian for the top spot.

Tea at the Windmill

I love rural life. I'm a country girl at heart, and do love living in a little town surrounded by fields and farms. I love being home, spending time with my loved ones and of course sleeping in my own bed! What I love most about rural life are those quintessentially English places. And Wymondham Windmill is one of those.

Sassy, But Savvy Sale Shopping

My name is Rosie, and I am a shopaholic.

Phew, glad to have that out in the open. So, it was only a few days back I was gracing my blog with my newest January blues buys, and now here I am, at it again.

In my defence, it is January and the sales are bursting with bargains. And there is nothing a student shopaholic loves more than a few bargains, am I right?

Our playground of choice was Nottingham. My mother, Molly, and I zoomed off in cherry (red fiat 500 to most) and our dear friends Kate and Meg zipped along behind us in Dorris (or black mini cooper). We parked up, and off we headed to shop till we dropped.

We spotted an array of decorative elephants gracing the shopping centre floor, and being the keen instagrammers we are, started snapping away.

A Rosie outlook for 2014

2013.
Hands down another fantastic year.
I won't bore you with the ins and outs of my year, but I will have a stab at picking a best bit.
Well for me the clear winner for best experience was my inter-railing trip during the summer. I promised myself at the beginning of 2013 that I would visit more places this year, and I managed that quite well! I want to be able to tell stories of the places I've been and things I've seen, and slowly, but surely Molly and I have started writing our own travel history.

Banishing the January blues!

After the frivolities and festivities of the Christmas period, January can be a little depressing. It's cold, it gets dark super early and many of us students have the impending doom of exams.

Now there are many things which can lift those spirits, and grabbing a bargain in the winter sales definitely should be one.

Dancing on Ice

My friends and I always love a good giggle.

So what better way to produce some happy hormones than a wintry day ice skating and scouring the January sales!

All wrapped up, we headed over to the Old Market Square for a go at something different, gliding on ice.

Needless to say, a few of us were feeling rather nervous, not naming any names *cough Bex and I cough*! It was a shaky start...
